A New Heritage Movie Night: Boomerang
Join us for an intimate screening of Boomerang (1992) — the classic film starring Eddie Murphy, Halle Berry, Martin Lawrence, and Chris Rock.
What most people never knew watching this film is that New Heritage Brand is worn throughout the movie. The late Rodney Jones, founder of New Heritage Brand, and Belinda Jones — established 1988 in Baltimore, Maryland — created the original artwork featured in the film. His work also appeared on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Cosby Show, A Different World, and In Living Color.
New Heritage Brand was relaunched 10 years ago by their niece, Tamira Wells, to continue the legacy of Rodney and Belinda Jones.
